Making it obvious

A long while ago this blog was created to drive our vision that every organization has a strategic plan and is acting on it.  Our quest was and remains remedying what we saw and still see as a major deficit in many organizations: The lack of strategic thinking, strategic planning and plan implementation.

The research we have accessed and added to shows that organizations that plan and implement their plan enjoy significantly greater success than organizations that don't plan and implement. Organizations that plan are twice as likely not to fail. Yet our latest study confirms what McKinsey's earlier research showed: Three-quarters of organizations don't plan.

Rather than throwing up our hands and saying, "What's not to get?", we have been working to make the rationale for planning and implementing the plan, using an effective and efficient process, obvious.

Take a look at our progress and let us know what you think:

Please give us your feedback to help us become even more effective in promoting strategic thinking and strategic action.
